I’ve been tinkering with the Slideshare.net service recently. It’s a YouTube-like service for sharing PowerPoint and Keynote type slide shows. Here’s my review of Slideshare that I wrote for Influence, one of my company’s blogs.
The smart folks at Freepress.net (the organization founded by my old college professor Bob McChesney) have released a fun game that spreads the word about the evils of media consolidation.
Problem #1: My son has too many toys. He’s blessed with generous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and somewhat invertebrate parents who sometimes buy him stuff he doesn’t really need.
Problem #2: Washington DC has over 7,000 children in families applying for emergency shelter each year. These kids don’t have enough toys.
